Five Coils out of Five!
Chloe is a nanny for the rich Reed family. She has sat their twins for a few summers now since the parents' attention on the children is nonexistent. The Reeds have an older son, Tyler, who is a football player at his college. Through framed pictures, Chloe has fallen in love with the older brother just as much as his younger siblings have. Tyler seems to have stayed a little longer than expected at the lake house this summer. Chloe is happy to see him right along with his siblings, but why in the hell is there another girl who tagged along with him?
While in law school Chloe meets her cute neighbor Cameron. He's smart, he's cute and he likes spending time with her. What should Chloe choose? Her adorable best friend or the boy she fell in love with through captured moments?
Chloe has to find her own bliss, but sometimes what you think is perfect, ain't so perfect. She grew up in a single parent household with a mother who is an alcoholic, chain smoker who suffers from delusions. Tyler seems to have the greatest family but with lack of parents' love yet high expectations does he even have it all? Chloe has never had anything come easy to her and we see that all throughout the book.

One night his rule breaking gets him face to face with a beautiful woman from the other side of the tracks. Drake is desperate to see her again, so desperate he goes to drastic measures just to get her attention. Not only does he grab the girl's attention, but the law's as well. Drake ends up in trouble, and is pissed yet oddly enough wants to se the woman who caused it all. He does, but the situation becomes a bit complicated.
Eighteen year old Lacey Douglas is beautiful. She has a voice of an angel, face of a goddess and a heart of gold. Lacey's mother is sick and her father is MIA. She works at a theater to make money to help support her mother but that's not enough. She has dreams, dreams of becoming an opera singer. She surely has the voice for it but with her mother's medical state, it would be wrong for her to leave her stranded. Lacey knows that taking the job she gets a call back for can help extend her mother's life, but would it be worth it if she cannot be with her?
With ignorant, racist, classist parents, the two lovers must find a way to overcome the barriers that are placed in the way and connect the space between!
